Yes, we would be pleased to meet with you, discuss your requirements and design an appropriate tailored course to suit your specific needs covering background theory / design / plant and equipment / operation.
Yes our courses include a balance of practical learning and theory as appropriate. Our standard courses can be adapted to suit the client's requirements to include more or less hands on work. See below, for example, in relation to Electrics, PLC & SCADA.
Yes we do. We are happy to facilitate your shift system starting and finishing training at times to suit your schedule.
All our trainers have extensive experience in industry and over a range of businesses. They have many years of practical hands on, real world experience. They understand and are conversant with the requirements of and pressures associated with work in a modern industrial plant e.g production downtime or loss of production and its effects on productivity and plant and site performance.
Yes, they do, with FETAC Level 6 certification.
Yes, we hope we can offer you a 5 x day Level 6 PLC & SCADA Course based on Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs (in association with FIrst Polymer Skillnet.)
NOTE: QQI is the new awarding body and at time of writing ( May 2015) no decision has been received from QQI to the submission made (Jan 2015) by the First Polymer Skillnet to QQI for certification of these 5 days courses. Please phone for an update Jean 087 6177599
Yes, we normally can. Our trainers cover a broad range of electrical engineering / PLC / mechanical engineering training, with relevant experience. We also use a contact network in the event that we might need to supplement our existing skills. If the course needs to be supported by hardware and software (that we do not have or do not cover as part of our standard programmes) we will need to discuss the costs of this with you along of course with the cost of research, design, documenting and delivering the training.
Each participant is supplied with a work-board designed for replicate electrical plant installations and set up in industry. This includes as standard equipment three phase and single phase mcbs, three phase motor contactor with overload block, step down transformer, stop start push buttons and simulated load connections. For the course we also supply a box of tools, multi-meter, cables / flex / all components and a calculator and in addition a comprehensive set of notes (for each participant to take away for reference).
Participants are supplied with a lap top, software and the Programmable Logic Controllers along with a set of notes. We can focus on Allen Bradley and Siemens Programmable Logic Controllers and SCADA Systems.
A cut away pump along with ‘used’ or ‘damaged’ seals, bearings, shafts, flanges, etc., to ‘show’ how the damaged element looks/ appears.
Yes indeed and we would be happy to discuss this with you.
Yes, as a Registered Training Provider with Engineers Ireland all our courses are awarded an appropriate CPD rating as follows ; a two day course achieves 2 CPD Credits, 1 x day of training equals 1 CPD Credit, ½ day = .5 CPD Credit and so on.
‘OPEN’ courses are offered throughout Ireland and we can deliver a course on your site or at a nearby venue of your choice.
