·       Hardware Configuration and Assignment of Parameters

·       Select and Create a Controller

·       Save Hardware IO Configurator.

About this course

Pleae note:   Course can be delivered on your premises.

Course is intended for individuals who need to maintain and troubleshoot an Allen-Bradley Logix5000 based Programmable Logic Controller (ControlLogix, CompactLogix) – and who may have little current working experience with Allen-Bradley systems.

Throughout this course you will have the opportunity to practice the skills you have learned through a variety of hands-on exercises.

  • Laptops along with
  • A set of notes are provided.

 

Course Objectives

The basic skills taught during the course apply to all Logix5000 platforms so you can then apply what you have learned to the specific platform that you use in your plant.

Post course the participant will be able to:

  • Identify hardware and understand the LED indicators
  • Use Logix Designer to go online and monitor routines
  • Upload/download project files; I/O fault finding
  • Understand basic ladder logic and project structure and
  • Create a project from the beginning
