About this course

This course is for you who wish to become more familiar with the definitions and terms relating to pumps and pumping along with gaining a good understanding of the types of pumps most commonly used in industry and a detailed analysis of Pump Failure Causes. You will be clear on the main factors taken in to account in the selection of a pump for a specific application along with the advantages and disadvantages of the different types of pumps and pump specification for specific / special services.

Training Approach and Method

This Virtual course will be delivered over 2 days / 4 hrs per day / 2 hrs am & 2 hrs pm and questions will be answered (anonymously) via ‘chat’ and results shared with group. This allows trainer to clarify issues raised / highlight other relevant points to ensure a good, clear understanding by each participant.
